2026–2027 Competition Deadlines

The Society maintains a copy of its schedule of competition deadlines as a Google calendas that can be accessed through a wide variety of desktop and mobile calendar apps.
If you have previously followed these instructions you should by now have access to the full list of dates for the 2026–2027 season, if you have not previously had these or the new season has not appeared for you then read on.
Those with access to Google calendar can enter qeh47onms1ecpoch5pkbcb4mdc@group.calendar.google.com into the Add a friend’s calendar input under the Other calendars section to access the deadlines calendar.
Alternatively, if you use a calendar application that supports the ical format you can add the calendar there, e.g. by going to Open Calendar then From Internet in Microsoft Outlook, or in iOS by going to Mail, Contacts, Calendars then Add Account, picking Add Subscribed Calendar from the Calendars options, and supplying the …

In Memorial: Paul King

It is with great sadness that we have to report that long serving member and constant presence at the Society, Paul King, passed away on Wednesday, 8th April 2026.
Paul was a talented (and rare) producer of Cibachrome prints, who then successfully adapted to the digital age and the art of compositing.
A constant companion for his wife, Rose, he barely missed a meeting and was effectively an unofficial extension of the Committee over the decades, assisting with every activity and endeavour of the Society that he could.
Our condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to Rose, their son and daughter-in-law, and their grandchildren.
