A night dedicated to members' photography using mobile devices that incorporate cameras.
Note: Yes, most cameras, even large format ones, are mobile but you know that's not what we mean.
Members have been invited to present their ten favourite images captured using phones, tablets, etc. If they own such a device but don't yet use it for photography, now is their chance to give it a go and perhaps open a conversation about how to develop their skills.
All images are acceptable, whether we have seen them before or not, and any edits (whether carried out on a mobile device or after transfer to a desktop/laptop computer) are permissible.

Samantha Ruth MA Fine Art
Having a background in Fine Art, Samantha uses photography to create painterly flower images as a means of expressing the beauty of the natural world she sees around her.
Samantha enjoys capturing the essence of nature, a unique world of contrasting layers, fragments and patterns. Flowers in their very nature are rich in colour and by using a soft focus, there is a suggestion of the passing of time, recreating an element of nostalgia.
During the talk Samantha will explore how she creates her images using a time-honoured photographic technique (cyanotypes), and share her art influences and inspirations.

Lois Webb
Living within China for four-and-a-half years, amongst the people, offered Lois opportunities and experiences she may not have been given as a tourist.
This presentation charts the progress of her photography, from enthusiastic family snapper to professional photographer and tutor, through images of her hometown, Shanghai, to across the length and breadth of the vast country of China.

Iñaki Hernández-Lasa FRPS, FIPF, AFIAP
During this session Iñaki will explain some fundamentals in architectural photography, some concepts that he applies in his work, and then show his two Fellowship panels: a Fellowship from the Irish Photographic Federation, and a Fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society.
